After the big reveal in the latest episode of Agatha All Along, that — spoilers — Joe Locke’s Teen is the son of the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), the actor is finally talking about his role openly. Well, sort of. In a video posted by Marvel’s official Latin American account, Locke and the cast discuss what’s coming up, and tease scenes from the final four episodes of the season… But never say the character’s name without being bleeped out.
Look, let’s be real here: Joe Locke’s Teen is almost definitely Billy Kaplan, aka Billy Maximoff, aka the Young Avengers character known as Wiccan. They’re likely playing coy about calling him Billy because they didn’t say his actual name out loud in Episode 5, “Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power.” The other reason is that if Wiccan’s MCU origin is anything like his Marvel Comics origin, there are way more twists and turns to come.
That said? I’m going to transcribe some of these quotes from the video below in English and break down a few pieces of new footage. However, in the interest of clarity, wherever the name was redacted, I’m going to write “Billy” instead of “bleep.” If his name turns out to be Percival or something next episode? My bad.
Joe Locke Is Living His Teen Dream On Agatha All Along
“I’m here, living my dream, and being on this set, playing Billy,” Locke says in the video. “The Agatha/Billy relationship has so many layers to it.”
Adds Aubrey Plaza, who plays Rio Vidal, “So basically, Billy shows up and we know something’s going down.”
“I think we’ve got great chemistry,” Locke continues.
“Billy has a gift in there somewhere, but I don’t know what it is,” says Kathryn Hahn, who plays Agatha Harkness. “He’s a conundrum.”
…So not much they’re saying here, necessarily. After all, it is an EPK-style promo that’s been edited to just over 45 seconds full of sound bites and clips. The most interesting quote, in my opinion, is Plaza’s, which almost seems like it’s referring to something that happens after the Teen reveal — not before.
Regardless, there are also several upcoming clips in the promo… Some of these have appeared in trailers before, and some have not. So let’s discuss and speculate wildly about those.
The Agatha All Along Teen Promo Reveals New Footage From Upcoming Episodes
This is just a guess, though I’d say an educated one: in Agatha All Along Episode 6, we’re going to flash back and show how Teen is Wanda Maximoff’s son, why he looks totally different than he did in WandaVision, and loop back to the present. There’s some pretty good evidence for that in the promo, too.
While there are several new shots of Teen/Billy just, you know, existing, that’s not quite as interesting as some of the other footage we get. First up? This shot of someone having written and circled “Agatha Harkness Still In Westview.”

This certainly seems like either a clue someone left for our intrepid Teen sleuth or one from his own research. Next up is this shot of Agatha kicking Teen’s chair. I think it’s pretty clear what’s happening here: we’re getting to see the Agnes of Westview sequence from the first episode, from Teen’s perspective. If you recall, Agatha was trapped in Scarlet Witch’s hex and thought she was a cop interrogating Teen. She was actually in her house the whole time.

“Ouch” indeed! Then there are a few sequences that could be from the next episode, or one of the ones after. Agatha seems to be covered in mud, likely from when Teen tossed her into the mud on the side of the Witches’ Road at the end of this week’s episode. But immediately following that, they find a spooky castle:

This is perhaps adding A and B and getting Q, but I’d venture that Agatha escapes from the mud, and then heads to this next house on the Witches’ Road for Teen’s trial. And that isn’t a spooky castle, it’s an asylum where they can access Teen’s memories and officially break the Sigil that’s on him. I’m basing that on this, by the way:

Sure looks like a hex-shaped asylum cell to me. And with only Agatha and Teen/Billy present, it’s possible she may be unlocking the flashback sequence above.
Now, here are a few bits that I’m not as sure about. First up, a quick sequence at a wooden table. There are tarot cards there, and then a sword falls onto a chair:

I’d venture this is not from the next episode, but likely the one after (Episode 7). And it has nothing to do with Teen’s flashback episode, but in fact is Lilia Calderu’s (Patti Lupone) trial — which yes, means she won’t be dying in the mud on the side of the road either. I’m basing this on the fact that it’s Tarot cards on a table, and that’s what Lilia is all about.
One last shot which I do think is from the next episode… Teen/Billy is looking at something like a Gollum playing with the One Ring. What it is, I cannot tell from the footage, but I offer it up to all of you here:

Based on the colors, it seems to connect to the scenes of Agatha and Teen/Billy walking on the road and heading to the asylum/castle. But I guess we’ll see how correct all that is soon enough.
In the meantime: Marvel, release the Billy cut of that video. Thanks.
